The proposal and ring arrived!!

The Ring arrived (and so did the proposal . I am so happy with my DF and thriled with the ring.

The centre stone is 1.22 carats, VS1, E colour (originally graded as F by Gemscan, regraded as AGS E), ideal cut (AGS 0). The small diamonds in the setting are F-G, VVS1-VVS2. It''s set in platinum!

Thanks everyone. I will have to take more pictures and post them. The carver did an amazing job (I was very lucky that a former Harry Winston carver was able to make the ring)! He did an increadible job.

I am not sure what I will do for a wedding band. I have been advised against having an eternity band right up against the e-ring. I will either do a contoured platinum band followed by an eternity band OR just get 2 bands (platinum and eternity) for my other hand. I can''t decide between 2MM microscopic set or pave. I am leaning towards microscopic.
