It happened on Nov 26th....the day after our 4 year anniversary.
My bf kept insisting on wanting to go to a nearby park on Saturday. I didn't even really wanna go at first. I was afraid it was going to be freezing cold because Friday's weather almost turned me into a popsicle (we had gotten up early to go shopping...and froze our butts off waiting for store to open). So, the only way to get me go was to keep insisting we go to the park...and that something would happen at noon.... At noon huh??? What was going to happen??? I kept questioning him about it and he kept insisting going to the park with no real good reasoning behind it. He told me he wanted to go get some fresh air at first....then he told me it's cuz he wanted to do something for our anniversary. He's a horrible liar and has a hard time hiding anything from me. Of course, I knew something was up cuz he normally never tries to plan things for us to do during the weekend. So i suspected he might try to propose but wasn't 100% sure.
So he drives us to the park and we got there a lil "early". He kept me in the car for a bit, made a few sneaky fone calls....and told me to keep my hooded sweatshirt over my head so I would not look around. Finally he told me I could come out and I had to keep the hooded sweatshirt on my head as he led me around. When we got there, I looked and saw a picnic table with a big bouquet of roses. They were really beautiful. He actually got to pick out every single rose in that bouquet. Ah, I love flowers.
Well, he told me that someone had left them there and that I could have them. Then he told me to sit down. We were the only ones there in the park which was the setting that he wanted and he dropped down to one knee, pulled out a jewelry box and asked me if I would marry him. He opened it up and tricked me cuz it had no ring in it....just the empty temporary diamond holder that once held the solasfera. Then he pulled out another box containing the real ring. I said yes and he slipped the ring on my finger. I knew this was it when i saw the flowers but I part of me still couldn't believe it was happening...and it just sorta happens so fast. It is such a pretty ring and I love it of course...since i picked out the diamond and the setting. After being able to wear it for a couple I must say, the platinum is quite heavier than I expected. I'll get used to it I'm sure. I love the sparkles. <333

Yesterday he took me out to our fav fancy restaurant to celebrate. The food was excellent and we got free dessert. Yum! He lives an hour away and I SOOOO did not want him to go back to work hehe.
When I get some good handpics, I'll be sure to post them in the SMTR section.
