Ok, so the pics don''t do it justice (the camera isn''t able to do macros well) but here it is:

1.12 GIA RB
H
VS2
61.5% depth
55% table
ex/ex
thin-med girdle

Platinum pave cross-prong setting with about .38 for a total of 1.50 tw.

It''s a DCD signature ideal cut and really brilliant and sparkling.

We went vacationing back to Cape Cod and she met and hung out with my family for a week, so after that she really deserved it.

We actually were there for my niece''s oceanfront wedding and the day after had a brunch with the family. During brunch I said I want to go get some air so we walked over to the small private beach and sat on a bench with the amazing view. Everyone in my family knew so when we went back they gave the announcement and started clapping and taking pics.

gorgeous! i love your setting--where is it from?

Congratulations on your engagement. The ring is gorgeous!

Thanks. The setting is also from Dirth Cheap under their antique-style settings.

Beautiful ring Sean, looks great on her hand. Love the antique setting

Any more Cape Cod proposals around here?

Congrats for the very nice ring, of course
