Okay so I just bought a pair of shoes for my wedding, and I got them in and they are so uncomfortable! I wore them around my house for a grand total of two minutes and when I took them off I had purple welts where the single toe-strap was strangling my poor skin. So I''m returning them and instilling a new rule: no single-strap toe strap sandals, it''s too much pressure on just one little spot on my foot.

So I went back online and found a myriad of other shoes that I love, love, love. So needless to say I''m not exactly devastated to be returning the first pair. All I know is that I''ll need the exact shoes in by the time my dress comes in, in March. And besides, I''m fixated now, so I have to get the shoes before I can move on with anything else.

So here comes the dilemma - I like a lot of different shoes, but can''t decide which pair works best with my dress. So I''m putting it up for poll...haha.

First, here''s the picture of my dress. Then the poll. Then the pictures of the shoes. OOhhh, this is fun!

Hey there, whichever pair you buy, I''m a newly minted supah-fan of Band-aid''s anti blister stuff. Should be at your drugstore. You just rub it on (kind of like a deoderant stick idea) and it puts a nice protective layer of silicone between you and the Evil Strap Family.

I vote for #3. As beautiful as the rest are, you have to think of your feet and your comfort, and I think these will give you the best support. You don''t want to have to switch to sneakers at the reception!

I just wanted to let you know I think Nina brand has some of the most comfortable heels I have ever owned, so if that is a really problem for you, definitely keep that in mind

One other thing to note, rhinestones can shread the hem of your dress. Particuarly if you have delicate lace or any sort of catchable theads, they can latch on and don''t let go! I''d defintely take some practice strides in your dress before chosing a shoe- it''s way too pretty to endanger!

Maybe something like these?
Though personally I''d 86 the bow.

I like the simplicity of #5.

Just an FYI, I recently received my Versani shoes from www.glassslipper.com and they are sooooo comfortable!

This stuff is brilliant. You can also buy a much bigger stick of the same thing for about the same price if you go to a good sports store -- it is called "body glide" (I know, it sounds really dirty, but it''s the same thing in a deodorant-sized stick). The band-aid size is good to put in a purse for reapplication!

My vote is for #3. I have a pair of silver Nina peep-toes that I''ve worn to a bunch of weddings. Different decoration, but similar cut. Love the look and they''re decently comfortable.

definitely #5.

So apparently I''m the only one who likes #2 so far...I was torn between those and #3. Although I love love love strappy shoes, I think that it might be more comfy to go with ones with either wider straps or the peep-toe ones if you''re going to be standing in them for a long time. Fewer blisters. Is there any way you can try some of the styles on to see which are reasonably comfortable and which are horrible before you buy?

I also vote for number #2. They remind me of the famous SATC Manolos. I think having slip-ons is the way to go.
