I ordered this pair simply b/c of the 4" heel. I know some of you height-impaired girls are also looking for heels so I thought I''d give some feedback on these (which I''ve found on pretty much every single wedding shoe website).

I did a 45 minute test-run at home last night. My toes were sliding out the front and spilling over the shoe (my FI noted how silly it looked). I made them as tight as they''d go but maybe I need a narrow size (seriously I NEVER go down in size but on occassion I''ve gone up in size and my feet are not at all petite in the width). After 45 mins the straps around my toes were hurting and when I took them off they left red welts. Defnitely not the right shoes for my wedding. On with the quest.

But I will say, I was TALL!!! And that was pretty cool!

Too bad! They ARE super cute! I could NEVER do a 4" heel (although it would have cut out the extremely expensive hem on my dress.. lol.. )

hm... I dunnos but I would fall in shoes that high... hehe!

Good luck finding something else! I actually ended up getting my shoes at a italian shoe store- they have SUCH comfy shoes, I think Italians just make better shoes or something, the leather upper part makes a big difference too in terms of comfort for me. I don''t know if you can find something like that in your area but I know those Europeans LOVE high heels!

I have these little things called Foot Petals for my shoes. You can get them at bridal stores. They go on the inside of your shoe and prevent your feet from sliding down. I have this problem too, but this corrected it big time. Actually, you can by them at Target online... They are wonderful.

Good Luck in your search

I didn't like the foot petals. They pushed my foot up so the straps dug in and were so painful!

Can you just peel the foot petals out if you don''t like them? I found the most comfortable pair of shoes (but only 1 1/2 inch heel so I''m not taller than SO!) online, but I do notice that my foot slides a bit in them because they have elastic on the straps. The foot petals might help my foot stay in place, but I''m afraid of tearing up the shoe if I don''t like them and take them out.

I wear really high heels, but I can''t do 4 inches. My daily wear is 3 3/4 inches, any more then that an I literally can''t walk. The shoes are cute though, hope you find some that work.

I ordered those shoes that you posted along with these pictured below that are a 3.5" heel based on the liklihood that the 4" will be too much - but I think I can probably handle the 3.5". They are both arriving tomorrow so I''ll see how they both fit... I''ve used petals before with pretty good success. I have such fat feet that sliding down or around is not typically a problem for me but they''ve been helpful in a few pairs of shoes that I just couldn''t get to fit right (and I''m a shoe whore so I''ll buy ''em anyhow if they''re cute and are perfect for a particular outfit...

Teebee you have to let me (us) know how those work out b/c they are CUTE! I''ve seen them on a lot of the websites.

I did use my Dr. School gel cushions for the balls of the feet on those sandals and they didn''t help too much.
