Things seem to be coming together!

BF and I have recently talked and he''s decided to give this job another year or so. (hopefully he''ll know before the 1 year is up so if by chance he wants to go back to his old job, he can with no problem.)

He spoke to a couple CO''s that have been there for years upon years and they all told him to give it time because when they first started they had the very same thoughts as he''s been having. They''ve said it''s definitely gotten better with time so I guess that''s what he plans to do... give it time.

So the air around here is feeling a little bit lighter! Yay!

And to top it off, I didn''t get *the* job I wanted... but I did get another one, doesn''t pay as much as the other would have but for right now, it''ll work. So I''m excited about that!

He''s been saving like a mad-man too, all the while paying off all his debt. He says he should be fully out of debt (besides his car payment) by Christmas and he also already has a good chunk in his savings. Yay! I know most of that money is going towards a mortgage (most likely)... he let it slip to me that that''s what he was planning to do... get all his debt taken care of and have some money put away in hopes of getting a good amount for a mortgage. (So, I guess we''re probably not moving into another apartment like we talked about, but it''s cool, i''d rather have a house!) However, I don''t want to fall into the trap of having to pay for a mortgage and therefore can''t ''afford'' the ring like a couple of LIW''s have complained about. I really would like to avoid that... but I guess I''ll wait til it comes to that time to worry about it. No sense in stressing over it now!

Let''s see, any other good news? Oh yeah, BF''s givng me his trailblazer and he''s going to get a car just for the winter, so something cheap. We have a motorcycle that he would ride the rest of the time so it doesn''t have to be an expensive car. (And of course he can take the trailblazer whenever he wants, I''m not going to hog it! lol.)

So I guess that''s it... haven''t written in a week or so... wanted to catch everyone up. hehe!


ohhh... we went to visit his grandparents the other day and I heard him asking his grandfather how much their wedding cost (they''ve been married 60 years) and then he said he wanted to know because we were watching that show ''Rich Bride, Poor Bride'' and it''s ridiculous how much people spend and such... idk, I know it was an innocent question but I just think it was so cute how he was so interested in it. Hehe.
