Hi! I'm thinking about parting with my French Cut diamond eternity band from Lang Antiques. I've worn it solo for about a week and next to my solitaire for a couple of days. I am super careful about my rings. Size 5.75. I paid $4950. I would like to sell for $4700. I would love to hear from anyone who is interested!

Here is the original web page on the ring:

Here is my thread with lots of pics!

Let me know if you have any questions!

First of all that is such a gorgeous ring Elysian.   I just went to your thread and it looks amazing with your ER!

I am sorry you are selling it but I have a feeling you might find some interested parties soon. Diamondseeker where are you???

Here, here I am HERE!!!!!!!! It is MY SIZE EVEN!!!!

Gosh, the thread topic gave me a heart attack! Thanks for thinking of me Missy!!!

I want to ask you something off of here. Do you have any listings on LT? I think I have an old one if you don't.

Hi DS! I have no listings on LT as of yet, my ID is Elysian there too. Could you link me to a listing of yours? I will contact you through it.

Thanks, missy :-)

Since I haven't heard from you yet, I will express some of my confusing thoughts!

If I keep my diamond in this setting, I can't think of anything I'd rather have than a french cut band like this. It is the right size for my finger and the width I'd like. The unknown factor for me is not feeling educated enough on french cuts to know which type I like best. Just haven't seen enough in person. In one way I can see liking high domes, but on the other hand, those stones would be more vulnerable to damage!

The other nagging thought is whether I will end up resetting this diamond into an antique style setting. I JUST found out yesterday that Van Craeynest is still making the ring I have thought about for so long. I think we can both relate to the fact that these diamonds are just gorgeous even in a solitaire, yet an antique style setting really is the perfect compliment to the diamonds. My constant conflict is that I don't want all my rings to be ornate, but I think the U-113 is best with a mrb.

I really don't care to collect a LOT of jewelry, but I do want the few things I do buy to be heirloom-worthy and things I really love. I am just not sure I can justify a reset AND a french cut band that would then end up as a standalone band because I don't think it would work with the VanC. But on the other hand, if I don't reset, I would want a fc band! Of course, I also want a 2.5+ ct emerald cut diamond in the next year or two, so that is another facet (haha) to this whole dilemma!

Dust to both of you.....

Thanks, Greg :-)

DS - I sent you an email a few minutes ago. I hope it finds you well. :-)

Um, details?!! I thought they were done. This is exciting. Do you have any info on what they are/aren't making?

They are still making most of the e-rings and wedding bands. They are not making the pierced rings because the person who made them is no longer there.

Elysian...going to answer you now!

Thank you for the info, that's great news.

Beautiful band Elsyian, sorry for the threadjack!

is this still available?

Just to update the thread, I am at a point of trying to decide on a new setting for my e-ring, and it is just almost impossible to know if the band would work with an unknown new ring. So I sadly just cannot buy it at this point. ;( I love it, though!

I completely understand, DS. :-)
