Thoughts on JA True Hearts stone?

Hi!

I am not very good at assessing round diamonds, so hoping that someone with more expertise can weigh in on the hearts and arrows images below? This is for a James Allen True Hearts stone. I don't have the GIA report so I don't have the angles, but hoping this is enough to say whether the stone is a promising candidate or not?

You can find the stone on Pricescope and get its HCA score because we have access to the data that is not published. I expect is is well under 2.0
Best not to share too much info as a lurker may buy it.

Thanks very much!! I just requested the report from JA. Are you able to weigh in on whether the images look good? I have no idea how to interpret them, unfortunately.

It is not very strongly lit like a lot of other vendors images but has potential and is probably at a lower price point than similar stones from top boutique online stores.

Sounds good, thanks very much again! And yes, the price is good - if everything checks out I think it is a great value, all things considered.

As long as the inclusions do not bother you and the report is recently issued, go for it.

Thanks so much for weighing in! The inclusions are clear and actually more visible on that hearts image than in the video of the stone, so I'm hoping that it is eye clean in person.

Haha - I don't have it on hold yet! I've been going back and forth on potential options to upgrade my studs and driving myself slightly crazy in the process. At the moment, I need to use my current studs + extra for one upgrade stone, whether that is by selling them at a loss or upgrading through BG. It will probably be 1-2 years before I have enough for the other stone, which I know is kind of a crazy wait, but I think I would rather secure one upgrade stone now and then work towards the other, even though I won't have any studs in the meantime. I had my EC loose for years before I set it and just played with it in a stone holder haha. I think I might put the upgrade stone in the cheapest solitaire setting I can find so I can wear it while I wait. To be continued!!

(I wish I had tiny earlobes. A friend suggested it might be cheaper to have earlobe reduction surgery, if that is even a thing lol )
