Thoughts on knot and feather inclusions?

Just a general question: I've seen some sites advise against the purchase of diamonds with knots and feathers out of concern related to durability. How often in the real world do diamonds 'crack' or chip in those areas though? Have a diamond I've been considering that I'll be checking out in person this week - has a minor feather *near* (but not through) the girdle, and a knot which honestly I can't locate on the chart or the diamond itself from the pics. Wondering if there's anything in particular I should look out for when in person with it and/or any thoughts/advice on these kinds of inclusions

The problems with knots is the crystal sticking out of the stone can get knocked out leaving a huge cavity which can become eye visible, changes the grade and greatly reduce the value.
For a run of the mine diamond why take the chance?
If they are small and on the pavilion im not so harsh on knots and the stone is something special I would consider it.

I dont worry about feathers unless they extend from a cavity or are near the corners of a princess cut.

Thanks for the insights!

For the life of me I can't tell where the knot is located in that video... I can't even tell where it is on the plot map since it's supposedly a double outlined circle (red+green) and I can't discern anything like that vs whatever the crystal outlines are (single outlined red)

I was sort of excited about this one and I'll be seeing it in person later this week, but this knot is just throwing me off. Would it be the kind of thing that would be made safe placed under a prong, or is it the kind of thing where prong placement might actually aggravate it?
