Thoughts on these opal beads?

I've been looking at this necklace and wanted some thoughts on these opal beads on it and if they were worth buying? They said there is crazing but I can't see any myself. opal necklace

The fact that the intervening beads are "resin" leads me to believe that, crazing or not, they are not of very high quality. I suspect they will mostly look like white coral or plastic. OTOH, the $8 current bid looks pretty conservative

I've never used this auction site before and it says they sell estate items. It seems they mark anything they can't identify as resin like the stones in this ring. In any case you're right it's cheap enough and the 14k gold clasp is worth more than it's bidding at.
