Thoughts on these RBC earrings?

Thoughts on these? How do you buy something like this without knowing clarity? Just go on photo alone? No accompanying lab report is worrisome for spending so much, IMO.

This is a good price for 1.62ctw earrings. I would have them sent to an appraiser to verify they are what the seller says they are (with the money in escrow and released to the seller when the appraiser approves). They are probably not price scope quality but that’s to be expected.

Great price. Really small for carat weight though. They don’t look like old cuts but at 5.36 and 5.28mm they face up more like 1.2cttw. I would verify.

I wouldn't buy without GIA reports. Too much of a risk unless there is a return policy. They have to be pretty deep to face up like a .6 ct stone.

I like them. A six prong setting so that’s an indicator of “better” quality.
Without reports you don’t know if they are S1 or even if clarity enhanced.
Without the benefit of a lab report, only pay a price that would get you clarity enhanced and/or only buy if the seller will accept return.
Don’t pay with F and F PayPal, pay the extra fee and pay via PayPal invoice. That way you are covered.
F and F is ok if it’s a well known Pser, just an extra unwanted risk if it’s a total stranger.
