Thoughts on this Antique cushion

I recently purchased this antique cushion/OMC looking stone from Ritani. I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I’m looking to have it in a ring. Either a 3 stone or possibly as a solitaire in an antique style setting.

I’m new to this style of stone and am not as knowledgeable as I would like to be. Thank You!!

It looks pretty to me but I think I saw growth lines in the crystal. Hopefully more knowledgeable people will chime in .

I'm not very well versed in lgd so can't comment on the growth lines. The cut itself looks promising but you'll need to see if the centre is dark most of the times like in the photo. Apart from that I can definitely suggest some settings if that's what you need help with lol.

I hope you're able to return it if irl it's dark most of the times.

For me I feel like an omc kinda plays well by itself. If you were to do a 3 stone then all three should have similar faceting etc. If you can find those then a three stone will give you lots of finger coverage! Good luck.

I did make sure I was able to return it. I actually just got a message that it was unavailable. So back to the hunt!

I’m looking for a 2-3ct Antique cushion/OMC or OEC. I’m not a big fan of warmth since I’m someone with cool undertones in my skin. Preferably VS1 or above. I don’t have a set budget per se. More so just keeping an eye out for a good deal. Thank you for your willingness to help!

Awwww thank you for saying that! From my perspective, I do worry about the stone going dark down the middle but it’s so hard to know until you see it in person. I’m not sure if they’re smudges or striations like a few others pointed out but again, you should be able to tell in person. I can’t wait to see what you think when you receive it! Hoping it knocks your socks off
