Thoughts on this Canera Ideal Hearts H&A

Hello.

DH has agreed that I can get another e-ring. This time I am loving round diamonds. But a small part of me wants an oval halo e-ring, but are they becoming trendy? I want something classic and hopefully this will keep me happy for the next 20 years

What are your thoughts on this stone? I am not color sensitive.

I want the Emilya setting, do you think it would provide a lot of finger coverage?

Curently I have a double halo CAC and its a show stopper, but some days I don't want to have a double halo e-ring. I would love to have both options in my collection.

I just bought a Victor Canera stone and ring and I LOVE it! I bought a 2.2 carat diamond. Victor also did the setting. I could not be more pleased. I did a thread on PS. Also, my ring is on his IG (it is the most recent). I saw the Emilya and it is to die for. Actually, if I didn’t get the trilogy setting, I would get that one. No one does a halo like Victor. I found Victor a joy to work with. Good luck and keep us updated.

I adore your cushion ring ! I have a CAC and a Canera hearts and arrows. Spend some time with the stone before having it set to be sure you love the round shape and don’t still long for the fancy! I love victor’s scalloped oval halo too, the task is finding the oval!

Your ering is so pretty! And your studs too, love them!

To throw in another (differing) opinion, if you already have a halo ring, perhaps a different style is better (like a solitaire or a 3stone)? I prefer solitaire, but ofc it depends on your tastes. The Emilya is lovely, but I think it’ll look very similar to your current ering. I would also suggest a more elongated shape to get as different from your current ering as possible (so oval like you said would be great, or pear), or even a step cut (like a really nice emerald cut ring with traps on the sides perhaps)?

I think both ovals and rounds are classic, not trendy. This setting with an oval is one of my favorites of all time.

I’m actually having my oval diamond reset to a diamond halo w/plain shank right now. I’m also upgrading my round diamond to a solitaire setting. So, best of both worlds! Sounds like you might consider doing something similar.
