Thoughts on this OEC on ebay

Hi all, just wanted to get opinions on this oec and the price. I really want a diamond pendant, and an oec, and...ok, I admit it, I'm going through a rough time right now and something like this would really cheer me up. There, I said it, in all it's materialistic glory! Anyway, not even sure I want to shell out a lot of money right now, I keep going back and forth on it. I don't know anything about prices for oec's, so I was just curious as to everyone's thoughts. Thanks!

It looks nice but I see color in that 3rd photo. I'm NO expert but I don't think it's an F.

Thanks stci, I thought the price seemed high also, but wasn't sure because I don't know much about oec pricing.

I too think the price is high. You really can get great ebay buys for about $10 a point for diamonds if you look every day and are patient. Set your search preferences and start by searching the newly listed. I also specify "used" to further narrow my diamond search.

I agree, I think that the price is a little high, and I think that the color grading is off. You can't really tell if it's dirty or color, but I think you could find something better for the money.

Wahooooo! $10 per point seem really low too! I think if you can have an antique beautiful stone for this price grab it fast!

IF the stone is as represented, the starting bid is a steal!

However, in looking at the body pics, Im a little skeptical about the color.

There are no starting bid Grace, it's a buy it now.

IMO, you can have similar for $200 less but the price is not too bad.

Thank you Grace and stci! Hmm, you're making me reconsider. I don't mind if the stone shows a little color. I'm still trying to decide if I want to spend the money lol.

Well, after some hemming and hawing, and some discussion with the hubs, I decided to go for it. I was encouraged by the seller's positive feedback. Part of me feels guilty for spending the money, but another part of me says that I went many years without any bling, and now that we can afford it I deserve a few nice pieces. How's that for rationalization? Anyway, I'll be sure to come back and let you all know how it turned out. That bit of color in the one pic has me a tad nervous, but we'll see. I really appreciate all of your feedback!
