A lot of comments I would make would really depend on what it is you are looking for/what’s important to you - to see/have in a OEC/ring

Yes, is it possible with a lot of legwork, time, and luck you might find some auction somewhere for a little cheaper? Could be. Maybe. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Rest assured the ring you bought is absolutely beautiful. Are you as enamored as I am? Do you love it? That really is the only question that matters.
