Thoughts on this Tourmaline?

I’m a colored stone newbie. Does anyone have any thoughts on the quality of the above stone, its price, and/or the company selling it? It would be set as a solitaire ring. Thanks!

I like it, and think the price is fair. But I'm afraid it's a bit dark. Can you ask for pics on someone's hand to better see the color?

It’s a pretty and well cut Green Tourmaline and would look great as a solitaire. Is the color what you are hoping for? I’m not great at seeing hues, but I’m not seeing the blue in the stones or yellow, so to me it’s a very pretty medium-dark to dark green stone. Very pretty!

Riouxrocks on instagram and Facebook has been posting a lot of beautiful blue green tourmalines lately. Joshua is great to work with and if your reach out to him he could tell you if he has anything available that might work for you. The stones I have from him are gorgeous, his pricing is very fair and he has a great return policy.

I also saw a pretty lagoon tourmaline from gem obsessed on instagram though she hasn’t posted on Instagram quite yet. It might be too blue but I thought I’d share it anyway.

Its definitely not blue to me, more of a medium dark green. If that's what you are looking for then I think you'll be happy with this one. If not, then definitely keep looking. I second checking out riouxrocks!!

I like the first choice best. Great color, super cut, very low priced.

I really like the first one too. There is something special about it to my eye and I keep coming back to look at the video . It looks like it could be on the darker side, but if they have a good return policy I think it would be worth ordering to view in person, if that is the type of green you are looking for. If it’s an option for you, I would order a couple of stones and compare them in person to see which you like better.
