Three stone proportion question

I would like to turn my round solitaire into a three stone. Center stone is 2.86 ct (9.15 mm) and would like to add approx .75 ct sides (5.95 mm). My finger size is 5 and am wondering if these proportions will fit on my finger without overlapping onto the sides. Any advice/opinions appreciated - thank you!!

I’m not quite sure how high the center stone would have to be set, and the sides be angled in the sizes you mentioned, to not overlap to the neighboring fingers any.

With stones that large on a size that small they're either going to have to ride high off the finger, or at an angle severe enough that the side stones will either A) always be grimy and oily from the adjacent fingers, or B) so angled so as to not be readily visible from atop

Mine is 8.35mm with sides almost the same as yours at 5.7mm. My finger is a 5.5.

My ring covers the finger side to side but doesn’t overhang. And isn’t massively angled.

Yours would overshoot the edges of your finger. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing!

I've of the opinion that you could do it. I'm a ring size 4.75 and I tried on a gorg4eous Tiffany 3 stone that was 1.25/2.5/1.25 size 5. It was the max I could wear but had beautiful finger to finger coverage with no uncomfortable side bumping.

Hi Ionysis, I am in love this your beautiful three stone ring! Do you mind me asking what size the diamonds are (to get a better sense of proportions) and what setting you have? I love that the round diamonds actually look round - which is not always the case!

Sure! The centre stone is 2.25ct and each side is 0.7ct. Centre measures 8.35mm sides are 5.7mm.

Thanks @Tonks. My ring size is 5, which is a little big for me on regular days. I wear a rubber coil under to make it more snug. But in the summer when it’s warmer and I’m puffier, the size 5 works great. I haven’t worn it in a while and when I look at it now it looks like a lot of ring/bling. But that’s what I wanted. Some people don’t like that kind of look. It is all just personal preference.
