Three stone rings OEC center stone mixed with RBs??

I have an OEC stone (low color, light champagne 6.5mm) and I'm looking to create a ring as seen in the picture attached.
To keep the proportions similar to this ring, would 0.25ct side stones work? I don't want the side stones to overwhelm the center stone. Also, would it look weird to mix an OEC with RBs? I was thinking since the side stones will be very small anyways, it really shouldn't matter too much whether they are OECs or RBs. Obviously, RBs are more readily available and much easier to find as a pair which is why I'm asking this question. Any opinions/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :wavey:

I just did that but with pear side stones. My OEC is a .91, very warm, while the sides are g color

I love those pear side stones. Where are they from? I am considering doing the same with a lower colour OEC/OMC/AVC.

I bought the setting off a PSer...she listed it on diamond bistro about a month ago...It's plat setting and they are .34 carats total weight...

Thank you for this post! I am in the process of trying to decide if i should go with a large solitaire or a smaller center stone with 2 posts as well. I am a6.25 and although smaller than you seems gigantic compared to a lot of the solitaires i see posted here. Will be following the responses.
