I am happy to report that my three stone ruby ring will be finished next Wednesday! The ring features a center stone purchased from AJS Gems. The diamond step cut trapezoids are being provided by SK of Timeless Luxury. The ruby is a delicate little thing 1.54 cts and measures 7.72x5.18x3.55mm, the diamonds are .56tcw F/VVS 5.3x2.9mm. The ring will be set in platinum.
Steven has been great to work with, I already have two of his lovely handmade pieces. This time Steven sent me stepwise pictures of the whole process! How neat is that!

Can't wait to see the finished product. I love rubies!
And it is so cool to see each step in the process.

I bet it will be beautiful! I really like the design you've chosen and the ruby is beautiful (and of course the diamonds are too!)

The shank:

It's absolutely wonderful that your vendor is sharing the process photos. We'd all love to see hand shots of the completed ring.
Would you by chance have photos of in between these two shank photos?

Cheers

I love seeing the process of making your ring!

I don't know anything about metal working, so how do you get from the platinum ball to the head? This is fascinating.

It's going to be lovely! The proportions of the 3 stones looks terrific.

I can't wait to see the finished product. I am tossing around the same idea with a tourmaline so seeing your finished ring will be good.

So cool to see the steps along wth way! This ring is going to be gorgeous!

I love "in process" photos. Very neat! and beautiful ruby.

It's going to be gorgeous, thanks so much for the making of photos they're so cool!

NE Jewels. I don't have the ring yet, as I said in the first post it is not due to ship until next week. I do not have any additional photos, but you could try contacting Steven at Timeless Luxury yourself, he might be willing to share additional photos with you as you are in the trade. He has always been very polite and willing to help in my experience.

I think this style would be lovely with a tourmaline, what shape is your stone?

No problem, I thought it was a pretty spiffy set of photos...so why not and now others will suffer along with me while I wait for the ring to arrive!
