Hi Everyone,

I''m new to P.S., and this is my first attempt at some pics... but wanted to share with all of you an estate piece.
I was told it is from the 1920''s..

I love the uniqueness of this ring, and thought as fellow "bling" lovers, you would all enjoy it. Hope the pics come out ok.

Wow, your ring is seriously GORGEOUS! I love the setting, especially the tiny bezeled diamonds. And that emerald is BEAUTIFUL! WOW! Now I wanna see your engagement ring if that ring''s a right hand ring!

I had to come back and have another look-see! So I have a question...I''m intrigued by this being a vintage/antique piece because the design has such contemporary elements. For example, the bezel set side stones and the open work seems more modern, yet the center stones - and the way the sides rounds are set - appear quite Belle Epoque almost. Do you have a provenance on this ring and if so, could you share it''s history with us? I''m dying to know where it was made, when, etc. Such interesting combination of design elements...

Oh, and we have to see your ering now...!

Oh WOW! I LOVE your ring! It is just beautiful! Your kitten is so cute. Is it a Ragdoll? It looks like a sweetie!

Hi Surfgirl,

I was told by the jeweler that the ring is from the twenties -- my hubby also took it to Tiffany''s in NY to get it checked out.
Tiffany''s did not give me any background info (just an appraisal for insurance purposes). I need to submit it to Tiffany''s "archive" service for more in depth info -- just haven''t done it yet. They charge $500 and who knows how long they keep the ring -- but I guess I need to do it.
My e-ring is a straight up RB solitare 6 prong setting....1.57 carat, F, SI1. I originally came to PS in search of an upgrade for my 10 year anniv... it''s been so fun researching.. and PS is wonderful!

Yes -- the cat is a "ragdoll" :) Good eye!!

Thanks for the info...when you know more, please update us. I''m so interested in it''s history. GorGEOUS! WOW.
