Scrapping a project to add sapphire sidestones and make a 3-stone left hand ring with Tiffany in Seattle. So I am now trying to sell an engagement ring which is not mind, and for it I have no use.

Tiffany & Co took the diamond from a solitare pendant and remounted it into this beautiful engagement ring only a year and a half ago, making it in EXCELLENT condition. It faces up VERY large, and has great presence due to the fact it is a triple excellent diamond ring (GIA gave it triple excellent for cut, polish, symmetry).

Colour is near-colourless with "I" and the clarity is the lower-end, at SI1, making is slightly included but I am unable to find any small inclusions without my loupe at 10x. This is a GREAT ring for someone who wants an authentic and LARGE classic Tiffany with good colour and clarity, but not flawless.

Included is the box, outer box, the engagement ring, the appraisals from a few years ago and the re-issued GIA certificate. I called Tiffany and they have a very similar ring in for sale now at $24,000- I am asking $12,500.00

Where is it listed? You'll probably want to include a link. I imagine plenty will be interested!

can you post the cert? i might be interested....would have to unload my ering first though.

Do you have the tiffany diamond certificate in the leather bound folder? Do you have a picture of inside the shank where tiffany stamps the ct weight and the diamond number? And is that appraisal from Tiffany? There's not enough of it in the pictures to see where the appraisal is from. Thanks in advance!

I do not have the original diamond certificate from Tiffany but the appraisal is from there- and they will do an updated one for roughly $200. The last appraisal was in January 2011, for $19,800.

I will try to take pics of the diamond number and the stamp that is 1.64.

I keep getting such low offers on EBay ($2,000, $3000). If anyone is interested, the lowest I can go is $10,800.

So was the diamond in a Tiffany pendant and then was put in a new Tiffany solitaire setting?

Yeah, those are definitely low offers. I would suggest though, that if you purchased it for 10k, that your price should be about maybe in the 8k or 7k range. It is a beautiful stone, but it is second hand. If I'm wrong, anyone will more experience please correct me.

The TIffany diamond was in my Tiffany & Co platinum mounting. I took the necklace to Tiffany and they re-set it for me (since it is their signed Diamond and my info was on-file). It took 3 weeks at Tiffany & Co NYC.

I paid $19,000 in Jan 2011. Now it is about $21,000 +

I think maybe people don't understand--is it a Tiffany diamond, or is it a regular non-Tiffany diamond mounted into the Tiffany setting? In any case, it sure is beautiful!!

Am I understanding that the stone was originally in a T&C pendant and Tiffany reset it into an engagement ring? So, it's a Tiffany diamond in a Tiffany setting?

Hi! Sorry for confusion. Tiffany Diamond in Tiffany Setting. I bought it from Tiffany in a Tiffany pendant, and later had Tiffany re-set their diamond.

This is what matters. So in this case, 10k for a Tiffany ring!!! That's a crazy good deal. I wish you all the best in your sale.
