Tiffany diamond heart…should I “upgrade”?

So I’ve had my classic Tiffany platinum .54 carat heart pendant for a looong time. I wear it surprisingly frequently.
It is the older version so a little heftier in carat weight than the ones in the store now.
Then I saw this piece.
Tiffany as well. Platinum with 2 ctw signed “Tiffany&Co France PT 950 2003”
It’s 13 grams.
1.2 ctw on the twisted wire dbty and .70 on the pave heart.

So my question is should I trade “up” for the pave heart or hold fire????

They are both beautiful! To me, the .54 open heart screams Tiffany and looks gorgeous on you! Costco has a 1 carat gorgeous puffy heart with substantial diamonds and that may be of interest to you. They are both gorgeous on you. Which one makes you feel more like you?

i like the classic simplicity of the .54 but that dbty plus pave kills me!
I know it’s a super special piece that won’t come around again anytime soon. But then I think heck my good ole plain heart is pretty damn good!

I’m wracking my brain seeing if there’s a way to keep both.
Can we make the argument that they are different enough to justify???? I kinda don’t think so….ugh so difficult…..
The .54 is really perfect but the dbty pave is “all-grown-up”!

If course! They ARE totally different. Besides their shape they can not be compared and I mean that.

They are definitely different enough to justify keeping both. The only minor similarities are that they are both platinum hearts, but the styling is very different, in my opinion. I would keep both, if possible. They're both gorgeous.

Same here, at least three that I can think of off the top of my head, probably more.
 
Wow! Thanks because I honestly didn’t think about keeping both until everyone suggested it. I mean why limit myself?? Not even sure where I concocted that “one heart motif” rule???!!!
Now it comes down to budget and $$$$.
Still thinking because it may not work out….

Well CD252213-AF22-4B79-B1FF-7D569A60243C.jpegit does make me feel better. Loads better.
And I had a crazy moment where I thought “hee hee…I’ve got it I’ll just layer them!” But sadly it doesn’t work. All fine until I moved a muscle then they just banged into each other and stacked one on top of the other. Ive never gotten the hang of a good neck mess stack.

Just add an extender to one of them and layer away!
 
Both are stunning & look amazing you you! I'm glad it's not me who has to make this decision!

They are both beautiful in their own right - who could decide??

I think the puffy heart is a more ‘grown up’ look but the first is special to you and is beautiful and sparkly - a more ‘defined’ heart. Who could decide? No help here!
 
I’m seriously stuck but can’t thank you all enough because I feel like at least I’m not alone and that it is a very difficult choice.
I will keep you posted!!!
 
I think the puffed heart gives off a more sophisticated vibe than the other heart. It is also less common and sometimes I value not wearing something that a lot of other people have. But they are both great pieces so as others have said you really can’t go wrong.
 
I like someone's idea of adding an extender to the puffed heart necklace. I really like that one with the DBTY chain but I also like
the one you have. The one you have looks like it would be cute with tee-shirts and jeans and the other one looks stepped up a bit!
Tough, tough decision if you cant keep them both!
 
I would keep both if possible ~ they are both beautiful and I don't think I could choose one.
Yes, they are both hearts but they are totally different styles.
