I realized I never posted any pictures about my fave necklace

I got it as a 5th anniversary present (Dec ''09) from my now fiance. It is the sterling silver version and has a gorgeous 1.5 carat cushion shaped amethyst with a checkerboard pattern. Please excuse her slight grubbiness - I had no idea how dirty she was until I saw the pictures!! lol

I find this necklace to be extremely versatile - I wear it with jeans and a nice collared shirt with no problem. It's simple enough to dress down but for a night out, it sure does sparkle like crazy!

As far as it flipping, I haven't found that to be a problem. It's fairly weighty and if you look close, the necklace attaches on each side of the amethyst setting which allows it to stay pretty still once on.

I like to think of it as more of a blue lavendar in real life. To me, they all differ slightly so it's best to actually go to Tiffany's and ask to see a few different ones before deciding. The color on this one sold me.

For $250, Tiff's has me sold on their silver Sparkler's. I think I'll be heading for the praseolite next:

Beautiful. I received this necklace about a year ago and it really is very beautiful. The color of my stone is very rich and it lays perfectly and doesn''t spin around on my neck which is great.
