Time for an upgrade. Need experts help!

Hello Experts:
You helped me 8 years ago to get a 1.26 CT diamond ring from James Allen. Now, I am considering to upgrade my wife's ring to 2.5. My previous specification is Ideal Cut, VS1, G. Now, I am debating if I should go with VS1 or VS2 and get a slightly bigger stone. Thoughts?

My budget is 25-30K. Any recommendations on the stone?

So what is the range of the cost of the stones you can consider? You mentioned the amount you can pay out of pocket, but I assume you are upgrading with JA and that you would get the full value of your original stone. How much was that?

Unfortunately, James Allen doesnt have a very good selection in the range you're looking for right now.

You might ask about this one (get the GIA report and post). Its the only one I saw that looked decent but I dont really have high hopes
for the numbers.
