We''re one mere week away from Thanksgiving, which traditionally means the kickoff of engagement season. Hurray!

Who''s expecting to be a future Mrs after the New Year? I think there''s a lot of people...

For me, the ring is being delivered next Wednesday (holy crap!). FF says he knows when he''s going to ask but not how yet. I told him he better get on it!

Hello All!!! I am so super excited that I found some ladies that are in my same boat!!!!!!! I am oh so hoping and praying for a Holiday Proposal!!!!

I have already posted this elsewhere but no response to my situation. Here is a little bradkdown of me,

My lovely guy and I have been together for 4 years. We have been living together for 2 1/2. We jsut moved into our FIRST built house together, and yes it is in both of our names!! We talk ALL the time of marriage and kids! I am 26 and he is about to be 30. He said he is waiting on him bonus before any ring purchases. Well, he JUST GOT his bonus last week. He told me though, "Baby, please let me do things my way"!!
I am going crazy DAILY. The much awaited ring is ALL I THINK about!!!
Finding this forum was like Heaven Sent to me! Please ladies give me some advice as to HOW to cope.

Am I the only going insane on NOT KNOWING?!?!?!?!

My ring was delivered today!! (my friend ran into bf while he was picking it up). And in my case, he knows HOW he's going to do it (he actually rubs it into my face and tells me how genious it is all of the time) .. but not when, specifically. I'm hoping before 2009, but really, anytime now is sooner than later

No idea when it''s coming for me. Maybe 2009? Probably no later than the summer of 2010, since that''s when my residency in England runs out.

I'm convinced that he has personally fallen in love with the ring and plans to keep it for himself. Why else would he possibly hang on to it since JULY!?! So at this rate, I am completely un-hopeful about a 2008 engagement.

Or 2009, or 2010, or 2000-infinity...

And it really breaks my heart, because he is coming to visit my family over the holidays, and I am supposed to visit his as well, so it would be the PERFECT time, but I am utterly convinced that it is not going to happen.

I was told it would be before March of 2009...but I did ask if it''s possible that it would be this year, and his reply was, "Anything''s possible "

Who knows when it will be, but it''s getting really exciting!

Is it bad that I am already mentally redecorating his place?

Mr.H says is making one more trip to the jeweler on Friday and says he now knows the exact date he will propose on

He also says since we haven''t committed to any one venue yet that he is thinking of moving the date up!

He''s trying to make me think that this isn''t his last trip to see our jeweler but I''m onto him.

I''m sure it will be before Christmas!

That''s funny. Bf just called me a bit ago to tell me I was right and my ring came today! And he plans on keeping it for a pinky ring

I am hoping!!!!! I know that he has ordered the ring!!! WOOO OOOOOOO HOOO>.. It felt like it took so long to get to that point but I know he got there on his own time.

I know that if it doesnt happen by Dec 15 then it wont happen until the New Year (weve discussed this as we both are not into the holiday proposal scene - no offense to anyone that is) so hopefully its coming sooner than later!!!!! hee hee

engagement season! I''m just hoping that I will be one of the lucky girls who takes part in it. I am 95% sure it will happen before the end of the year. FF says he has a plan and a specific time in mind and has decided on what he wants to get as a ring (or has gotten??!?!)

Oh Bia and everyone else, thanks. I think I've been on PS more often lately b/c I am just doing so well in my relationship and things are headed in that direction, I reallly, truely get so excited thinking about when he proposes and how great it will be... sometimes in my car (alone of course) I'll just grin so big and screech... just out of being excited and hopeful. It is such a great feeling being in love and anticipating an engagement. And of course with the holidays, it kinda puts you in a romantic mood as it is, so that's always good Good luck to everyone and Bia, as soon as you find out girl, you better post!!!
