My hubby needs a new wedding band...his is too big now. He wants titanium and I was wondering if there was a highly recommended place to purchase them? Is there a big price difference from purchasing online or in a B&M? I know that they are inexpensive so I guess that isn''t an issue. We''re getting him sized this weekend and didn''t know if it really matters where we buy for this type of purchase.

Thanks!

I can''t vouch for reputation, but I have seen many titanium rings on ebay for a very inexpensive price. Some have gone for under $50.00. I am considering ordering one since the risk is not too high financially. Be aware, though, that titanium bands can not be sized, so you''ll have to be sure of his size.

Here''s another resource that I found on PS... http://www.boonerings.com/

If you do a search, you should find some posts on the rings.

I have purchased a few titanium rings on ebay; but I also hear that boonerings is great, as well as other online vendors. If you search around these forums you should come up with a list of links.

Although Titanium rings cannot be sized, some online vendors will "resize" (replace) your ring for a certain amount of time (10 years, 2 years, 60 days). So, if you think your husband''s weight will change, it might be worth paying a litte more for a store with this option.

I ordered ryan''s from Boone Rings because he fell in love with one of the Mokume ones. It was well worth it and someday I might get a matching one.

I bought my DH an awesome titanuim and 14k gold ring on Overstock.com. I think it was $59 dollars on sale. I bought it to wear while we are on vacation since he does a lot of scuba and I was afraid that his nice 14k wedding band would slip off.

Hey pearcrazy! My DH got his new titanium band from Overstock.com too! It must be the same one your DH got b/c his was $59 too!

He loves it - says it is very comfortable.

Hey Jellybean, I gotta funny story about that ring. After it arrived I had to beg him to try it on. He finally did and wore it around for a while. After a while he started commenting on how light and comfortable it is. He''s a lefty and he said he doesn''t even notice it while he''s writing. After a few days he was getting very attached to it and I had to ask him to take it off!! His gold wedding band has so much sentimental value to me that I was getting sorta jealous of that new ring.

Thanks for the responses! We''re going to get him sized and then I''ll shop prices and varieties and we''ll see what he likes.

I think all wedding rings have some sentimental value. :)

I bought my titanium wedding band from Boone Rings. The service and price were both great. I highly recommend buying from Bruce Boone.

I have two titanium rings. One from Boone Rings and a new one from Titaniumrings.com. The one from titanium rings was only $49 and is just fine. They have a new diamond coating that is supposed to be scratch resistant. Prices are very good. I can''t stand tight rings so I have different sizes depending on season. At $49, I may order another one. I know, a bit quirky, but the alternative is not to wear one.
