I’ve been debating my wedding band size since I let my husband convince me to get the larger stones (yes you read that right lol). Ultimately. I worry my wedding band overpowers my center stone (center stone is 1.5 brilliant, side stones are .51 and my wedding band stones are .15)

This past weekend I tried on a smaller a jaffe eternity but it was almost too small.

Also - disclaimer - it never feels small after a professional cleaning. BUT everyday with build up or after a cleaning by me - the wedding band still makes me center stone feel meh

First 3 pics are my current set up

Pics 4/5 are of the smaller eternity band (which imo is TOOOO small for me liking haha). AFA099C5-C8A2-462D-BE0A-ED5494713D5B.png

Get the matching band to your ering side stones.

Though both are beautiful, to my eye, the band does compete with your 3-stone.

If it were me, I'd wear the 3-stone alone, and wear the band when I didn't feel like wearing the 3-stone.

If you prefer to wear a WB + ER, perhaps a slim plain metal (or carved) slightly-curved wedding band?

Have you tried a yellow gold spacer band?
My 3 stone is a similar size oval with tiny marquise sidetones and I have the same problem as you. I find the look is much more cohesive when I wear a 2 or 3 mm yellow gold spacer between the diamond eternity and the ering. My favorite spacer is one that is about the same height as the eternity (approx 2 mm).

I was also going to suggest a third ring for balance between the two!

I was also going to suggest a spacer to visually distinguish each ring a bit.

Try wearing your ering with a plain band, no diamonds. Then you’ll be able to see your ering.

Yes I would try a spacer first. You have a three stone with diamonds on the shank and a diamond band. They do all tend to run together. Try the spacer or try a plain band as suggested. I think you need definition between the two rings.

thanks all! I have tried a smaller band - but my hope was to have a WB that would stack with my ER but go under the diamond. My concern is the center stone sits on a diamond - making it appear smaller?

Maybe if the WB didn’t have any stones peak through the bottom - then it would make my center stone feel larger

I also am the kind of person who likes options. I’ve thought about buying a new WB to switch it up

Like maybe I do an emerald cut eternity band
