To Iceland!

Got married yesterday, everything went beautifully and smoothly, and everyone had a blast! We partied until 3 am, and got to see people we haven''t seen in years. We got a lot of compliments on the food and decor and everyone loved the cake (many people went for seconds, haha, good thing we had enough!). We had our reception in a restaurant that had a party room with a dance floor, for people still considering venues, this is a great option. We had a fantastic meal (9 courses of yummy chinese food, including Peking duck and seafoods, haha and sesame chicken for the more timid of palate), didn''t have to decorate since the place came with decor, didn''t need to rent anything or worry about staffing or catering or liquor licenses, and when all was said and done it was by far one of the mores affordable options that didn''t compromise on service or food. It was a wonderful place for a reception, we all had a blast, the DJ kept us dancing and singing (there was karaoke, but of course) all night. The night was a big hit!

Sigh, we had our flight out of NY delayed, and so missed our connection to Iceland, turning what should be our first day in Iceland into a night in the Boston airport hotel. The next flight to Iceland is 17 hours later, oh well, these things happen. Still married though! Now I just wish I brought my computer so I could see if anyone posted pics of my wedding on Facebook.
