So a little while ago I went rooting around in my jewelry box and I decided that everything I owned was *boring*. Not boring in a tear jerking "I''m going to throw it all in the lake because I hate it" sort of way, but in an "I''m not excited to put any of this on any more" sort of way. So I set out to find something *different*. I really had no idea what I meant by *different* but I figured it would be like pornography; I would know it when I saw it.
Then, a few weeks ago, I was in a tiny resort town in Michigan and I came across some pieces by Todd Reed, one of which made my little heart go pitter pat! It''s a ring made with antique rose cut diamonds, some of which I''m told date back to the 1600s.
I''m having a terrible time capturing the life and true colors of these stones... They glimmer more than they sparkle and the colors are just amazing!
The sizing on these pics is a little wonky so let me get one posted successfully and then go back and do the rest. I''ll also post some text from Todd''s website that I think is really interesting.
