Tomorrow I meet my Engagement Ring!!

It's here in the UK and tomorrow FI and I are going to Birmingham for his father's b-day and FBIL will be there with my ring!

This will be the first time I see either the ring or the stone in the flesh and I'm so excited - and scared!

I keep having nightmares that it will be too small for my finger. The current hot weather is making my current eternity band feel tighter than usual, however it is 6mm wide and my e-ring is only 3mm so hopefully all will be well.

Quick update:

I am absolutely thrilled with how my design came out. I was a bit worried that it would look a bit chunky, but when I''m wearing it, in most lights all you can see is the diamonds sparkling which makes it look incredibly thin and elegant - the platinum just sort of fades into the background.

The tsavorite is fabulous, it changes in every light and as you move it. It''s a very deep coloured stone - and you see a range of colours similtaneously - dark, dark green with bright green sections and flashes and sparkles of neon green. It''s like a Walt Disney emerald! It is everything I hoped for and then some. The size is also perfect on my hand and doesn''t look like a cocktail ring at all. The design also corrects the problem I have of all rings looking squint on my hand.

I am a bit unhappy with a few things and so it is going back to be fixed. Probably 90% of normal people wouldn''t even spot the things that bother me, but PSers tend to be anal and perfectionist, although I do hope that I am not being overly picky or expecting the impossible.

Anyway, Wink has been wonderful and says he will do everything he can to make sure I''m totally happy. 10/10 for customer service.

In fairness to him, I will hold off on photos until everything is fixed.

I can''t wait to have it back - my eternity ring just isn''t the same now I''ve seen this amazing stone!

To be honest, I''d prefer to not say anything until Wink has had a chance to look at it himself. Sorry, but I think that is only fair.

It is a bit annoying, but then again you see a business''s true colours when things go wrong which is always useful, and I''ll have a "perfect" ring!

In the past at work, I have often worked happily for years with companies and factories where there was an initial problem - they learnt about my perfectionist outlook and knew what standards I expected so all my orders were given extra attention and there were never any issues. I''m hoping for a similar situation here as it has been great working with Wink so far.
