Hello PS-ers

Does anyone have any experience with this Etsy vendor, ShramanDiamond? This seems far too cheap but I am willing to be told it’s a fair compromise for what you get!

My other option is this one:

I am not aiming for the very best or biggest here; just something to sparkle within my budget.

Happy to be told a fool and her money are soon parted!

Please don't buy either of these. Both note that the diamonds are I1/I2, which means they will be included and will not sparkle well. What is your budget?

Thank you so much @lovedogs and @Garry H (Cut Nut) . You’ve both right. I had hoped maybe I stones wouldn’t matter too much at that size, but I see I was wrong lovedogs, and budget is only $2k really so not a lot of bang for buck in that comparatively teeny amount. Garry, you are quite right and I read this forum for the wisdom and experience of members; I suppose I had hoped that maybe these vendors were OK-ish if not fully PS-approved and that’s why there was no mention of them (also I am only a few suburbs away from one of your stores so hello!).

Thanks again for talking me off the ledge!

I am afraid I am not going to be much help with your budget APFE!

Smaller size, but under budget from a trusted vendor.

$2600 would get you the size you want (I would likely save a bit and go for this if I were you)

If you are open to lab diamonds you can get 3ct for under 2k (of course it's a personal preference so no pressure one way or the other).

Thank you thank you! I didn’t even check IDJ because I assumed it would be out of budget. You are very kind to look around. I’ll check them out immediately.

Haha I did not expect so Garry! Just good to say hello to fellow Melburnian.
And its a lovely day - 14C already and none of the usual freezing winds!

And we are taking three grand kids to see the Boston impressionists - closest we will get to overseas for a long time!

I had about the same budget, and before going the preloved route I considered the 3ctw tennis bracelet from Costco (~$2600 VS2 clarity, I color): https://www.costco.com/round-brilli...e-gold-tennis-bracelet.product.100678163.html

And also a 4ctw from an ebay seller called DeejayJewelers (~$2100 SI clarity, GH color): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Natural-4c...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

I can't seem to find the thread, but I think a couple PSers have purchased from DeeJayJewelers.... Will link the thread if I can find it

The IDJ bracelet already linked above was also on my list!

That sounds like a fantastic day out! So sunny. Enjoy your grandparent time!

Thanks @Ontheblackrock15 ! I don’t think Costco ships to Aus though; I’ll check. I’ve scoped out DeeJay but will take another look around as they are so highly recommended. Thank you!

Agree with what the others have said.
The first seller with 6 sales, no.
The other Seller has good feedback and many sales but I 2 diamonds are likely more opaque than sparkly.
If the seller is happy to accept a return if you don’t like it in person you could buy it and see if it’s ok.
Honestly though, better to save up so you can buy what’s worth buying.
im an Aussie who bought happily from DeeJay jewellers via eBay. I bought a tennis necklace and was very pleased with it.

Thanks @Bron357 - the returns idea is great though I’d have to check cost of post return from Australia which might make it too pricey.
I saw your necklace!! So beautiful. You must be thrilled. And another vote for Deejay.
