You know, I watched three videos on precision gem faceting the other day and found them fascinating.

Then the YouTube algorithm suggested a documentary on Victorian-era animal jewelry, like this 24-carat diamond frog, but I was like, eh, I'm more into colored gemstones... but, OK, guess I'll see what the big deal is. To my surprise,
