How do trades typically work via loupe troop ?

Or
Pay a mutually agreed upon PS approved vendor/appraiser to be the middleman?

I have a ring for sale and had a 2 cut plus unheated blue sapphire listed was receiving emails inquiring about trading and was wondering how that worked. So if both items had a $1500 value I don’t know if I would send her PayPal and she would send me a PayPal invoice for the same amount so we both “paid” even though it’s an even trade and then once funds were received from both parties they would be shipped? Would that make sense? Lol

That’s what I would do!!!! Then you have the PayPal protection? But then you also have to pay PayPal fees that way...

Jumping on the bandwagon: I'd like to trade my VCA Alhambra 5-motif pave bracelet in WG. Would love another VCA pave or turquoise piece(s) or an Hermes crocodile Birkin or Kelly in black or red.
 
I’m also interested in trades. I have a yellow diamond 1/2 eternity band and I’d really like a solid gold band, preferably around 3mm wide, in 14k yellow gold, resizable to 7.5. I’ve ordered a few but they’re so thin that it looks weird next to my rings.

(I wish I could justify buying the bracelet, but after having a wedding in the family this month, I think I can't buy anything! lol!)

I may also look to trade the 1.3 ct diamond pendant. The diamond setting used to house this diamond but I’m not 100% yet... I’ll be pickier about this one.
