transitional halo diamond ring, and diamond garnet ring

Hi,
I am selling 2 rings on ebay under fatlab123.
The first is a ring that I tried to auction off on ebay but it did not meet the reserve. I didn't know the exact specs at the time, so I underestimated them. I took it in to an antique jewelery store to see if it would be worth it to get an appraisal, and I am glad that I did. I didn't pay for an appraisal, but he told me that the ring is: a transitional diamond, about .45 carats, k, and vs2. He offered to buy it off me for a fraction of the retail value, but I felt that if I was going to part with it, I would rather do so by selling it to someone who was not going to flip it. It is stamped MAC and is 14k gold, size 7 or 8...can't remember. I will be listing on diamond bistro shortly under fatlab123.

The other ring is an antique ring with 2 garnets and 2 old mine cut diamonds. Here are the links to both.

If the ring sells off ebay, and I don't have to pay fees, the price for the first will be $650 and for the second $180

How is the shank on the diamond/garnet ring? I'm interested, but need a pretty sturdy shank. Do you have a photo, off the hand?
