Trying for weeks...

I've been trying for weeks to find out what this is. I dug it up outta the ground in Brentwood TN about 15 years ago when i was doing irrigation work... I recently found it in an old box of junk in my closet and I have been trying to figure out what it is since. I only took one photo but could take more if needed. many many thanks to anyone who can help.

I've seen hunks of slag glass that look like that. Are there any chips? Should be easy to see if it is slag glass or end of the day glass.

go online and find a TN gem and mineral club.....forward the picture to them. i'm betting you'll get better info there.
