Trying not to keeps my hopes high...

I don''t want to psych things, but it may be this weekend.

After we approved the wax, I told BF that I don''t want to know when he gets it, what he is planning, and when he proposes. But he is SOOOO bad at hiding things that I KNOW that he has the ring. His credit card company called last weekend to verify an expense (the last time that happened was when he paid the deposit). He also was excited about a drink that he bought for lunch that day, and I asked where he was eating at. "Main Place...". Which is the mall that our jeweler is at.
It''s so bad that you would think that he is not even trying to hide it, but believe me, he is this bad at secrets.

Now for this weekend he is planning a trip to the lake nearby. Sandwiches from the grocery store, rent a rowing boat, spend the afternoon rowing, have a picnic, and hiking around the lake too (Thanks EricaR!). For dinner, he has made a reservation for Blue Bayu at Disneyland, which he knows I''m dying to try (Thanks MissErin!). Now, a person who knows how to surprise ladies will keep all this details to himself, but not my BF

Thanks for the dust! I really need to pull my reins though...I was imagining last night what if it DIDN'T happen this weekend. I felt soooooo crushed, annoyed, resentful, and lots of mean things to say to BF (along the lines of "I TOLD you I would rather have a simple one NOW than an elaborate plan months later!!"). I'm already a nagging girl as it is, and he might change his mind if I keep this up

Waa, I mustn't take away the pleasure of whatever he is planning.
Must...Focus...On...Beautiful...Day...

ETA: I thought of something else to focus on! Last weekend he was being unusually mushy and touchy. During dinner he leaned over and whispered "Have I told you how much I appreciate you?". My reply was "What's wrong with you tonight??". Of course I kissed him immediately

. Yeah, if it doesn't happen this weekend, I'll make a list of these little things to remind myself that we are already committed.
