Let me just say that if this is the biggest stress that I will have, I will be lucky. So my invitations were put together on Friday night and mom sealed all the envelopes, stamped them, and dropped them off at the post office. Then she calls to say that there is a mistake on the directions card, which I thought was impossible b/c I went over the final draft and had several other people go over it. Anyway, the direction should have read Access 85 South, but read Access 85 North. I just hate having small mistakes like that. Makes me look like I didn''t proof-read carefully. It''s not huge, so I''m trying my best not freak out over it. There''s no time to order more paper and get them printed and cut, so the remaining invites will just have to have a little note to make the correction.
And it''s a precarious situation as well as it was my MOH who did the printing and cutting for free, so I can''t exactly demand a refund. So I figure, we''ll just wait to see who is actually going to come before we point out the oops. Hopefully, people won''t really notice it too much.

How about sending an "Updated directions card" when you get RSVP cards back?

Yes I will definitely have to do that now. Upon further inspection, the southbound directions are completely wrong. A repetition of the northbound directions, she must have been adjusting some stuff and it went to a copied set. I know she didn''t do it on purpose, but this small mistake has now morphed into a bigger headache than I anticipated.
