Tsavorite Garnet ring by David Klass

I picked up a beautiful cushion shaped tsavorite garnet from Gene at Precision Gem last fall.

I love how bright it is. It’s small but really packs a punch in the color department. As for setting it, I already had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. I had seen a couple rings from David Klass that I just knew would be perfect for this baby. I just had to wait for the piggy bank to fill up again.

Here’s the final CAD from David. I find it helpful to see them along with the finished product. I’m the worst at interpreting CADs and, somehow, I’m always surprised at how the finished product comes out. It’s always way better than I imagined!

Thank you. I really love the shape of the halo and can't wait to see how it comes accross in person. I should have it tomorrow or Saturday (if I miss tomorrow's delivery).

I actually always planned for white gold. David just likes to do the CAD's that way. Seeing the CAD like that did make me consider two-tone but I'm just not a gold kind of gal.
