ty for answer. do you know any price of it? this stone clear but have crack inside.. i dont have any experience about cutting. if i wanted sell what is it wroth how can i learn?I visited the Turkish Diaspore/Csarite/Zultanite mine about 6 years ago and pieces this size are typical. I picked one up off the floor of the mine and was allowed to keep it and it looks very much like the one in your photo. Because of the chemical construction, it's not uncommon for a large piece of rough to only end up with a 1 or 2ct cut gemstone. In terms of whether it's sensible to have it cut or not, that depends on how good the cutter is and the actual starting material which would need the experienced eye to tell you. Cutting rough is always a risk, especially with this material, but it might be worth investigating.

i have rare specimens like kammererite and this. but they very cheap in my country. so i dont know what to do with them. i heard uncut diaspor price is 80 usd outside in turkey and kammererite is very rare butidont know if it troI think it's more interesting as an uncut mineral. Diaspore isn't a very valuable stone, so why not leave it as is for a crystal specimen?
