Hello, my oversea jeweler send me this before shipping to me. I noticed the color differences in my natural turquoise earrings. I need it in a rush for a beach wedding and they won't have enough time to find turquoise balls replacement for color match. I'm thinking to have this jeweler sending me match balls later, and I will have local jeweler replace. My questions are:
1. Do the color differences looks bad from your eyes views?
2. Could the local jeweler swap ball 1 to 3, so the color earrings match? What is the risk, is it a hard process? How much I'm looking at? I don't know if the ball can be re-used after taken out.

Thank you

Hello!

1. In my opinion no, it’s not a big difference and nobody will notice. Depending on the light, even you might not notice the difference

2. I can’t tell, but I would not take the risk

Beautiful color by the way!

I'm in the minority of crazy people who would need a better match on the earrings. That being said, I agree... NO ONE will ever be able to tell the difference, especially when worn. It looks like they're simply glued on to the backing, but may also be half-drilled like a pearl. But I wouldn't switch the earring turq out for the necklace turq. You paid for the entire suite and you should be fully satisfied. After the event, have the jeweler replace that one earring stone for you with a better (finer) match. That way, who cares what even happens to the poorly matched one during removal. Is it your wedding, BTW? If so, congrats!! If not, have fun!!

I am in the camp of earrings being worn far enough apart not to notice the slight difference in colour.

And no to swapping between the pendant and an earring by a local bench. I would send them back for the oversea jeweller for them to make the necessary changes if they continue to bother you after the wedding.

DK :))
