Two Fun Firsts!

I just got our first RSVP card in the mail! I mailed a few 'test' invites to close friends to see how long it would take for them to arrive, and my friend Z returned his RSVP card pronto. So much fun to see the little envelope in the mailbox. The rest of the invites go out just after New Year's. Sure, the wedding is still 3 months away, but most people will have to cross borders, so some extra time for booking flights, updating passports, etc. can't hurt.

Our first wedding present is apparently on its way too. Gosh. I honestly have no idea where we're going to put things. I secretly hope that most people who choose to give a gift just give us checks. They take up less space.

I go to stores now and think: "I should add that to my registry" I can''t wait to start receiving gifts. It''s like Christmas, but better.

I hope you get more presents in the form of checks... The gift that keeps on giving.
