Hello, PSers! I added these beauties to my collection with the intent to wear them as right hand rings, but realized as time passed that I don't wear RHRs often enough to justify keeping such lovely pieces. They're now consigned with Grace at JbG.
1.40 ctw OEC trilogy ring, purchased from Lang Antiques in San Francisco
The sales associate at Lang's described this to me as a "saddle ring" -- a style with a flat profile that was popular with glove-wearing ladies during the Art Deco period. The center diamond is .87 carats, G/H color, SI2 clarity and totally eye clean, set in platinum. It's currently a size 4 but is fully sizable.
This ring throws off glitter and and sparkles like you wouldn't believe. In fact, it somehow out-sparkled all my other diamond rings, including the ones with larger stones. Perhaps the sparkle factor is due to the variety of cuts within the design -- it has everything from OECs to trannies to single cuts. The many tiny details throughout are so delicately executed. This is gorgeous as a RHR or as an engagement ring -- and looks equally beautiful alone or when worn with a plain engraved band or a stack of diamond bands. Very versatile! Here's how it looks on my hand, though Grace's photos are far superior:

1.88 ctw OMC diamond and sapphire double halo ring, purchased from Fourtane Estate Jewelers in Carmel
This ring has incredible presence and fine workmanship. The double halo consisting of OEC and OMC diamonds and french-cut sapphires are the perfect frame for the center stone, which has that candle-lit warmth and rustic chunkiness that we all know and love in old cuts. The center OMC diamond is .68 cts, J color, SI2 and totally eye clean, set in platinum, size 4 but fully sizable.
Like the ring above, this one is also well-suited to being either a RHR or engagement ring. There is so much detail to this design -- I love the tapering double shank and the perfectly tiny milgraining throughout. I also adore how it sparkles and scintillates FIRE with every movement. And like the other ring, it looks just as elegant on its own or stacked with a diamond band or two. On my hand:

Thanks so much for looking!! Please let me know if you have any questions!
