Uh oh, it might rain on Saturday!

I just saw the forecast and there''s a chance it might rain on Saturday... my wedding is supposed to be outside! I could use some dust please...

DUST all around for you. My wedding was this past Sat. and with a 60% chance of rain.... Well it held off untill 7:30PM (started at 11AM) and by that time it did not matter at all, it won''t for you either by that time. Mine was outside too. ''

Just make sure you have a tent for your guest, for the bar area, the caterer area and the DJ and you should be set. No one minded the rain. It;s good luck too .... but I know how you feel, I was worried all week about it!

Dust, dust, dust!!

But just in case: A distant family member got married last fall and it ended up raining a bit through the outdoor ceremony. The groom''s family had found a bunch of white umbrella''s (that were returnable in case it didn''t rain) for guests, which worked out beautifully. The rain/mist made the ceremony seem magical and the pictures (with the umbrellas) are STUNNING.

When we were deciding on a season for our wedding....winter was out because of snow, spring was out because of RAIN and I can''t handle the stress haha, summer is hot/humid here, so we chose fall and settled on October 10th. The first two weeks in October last year were in the 80''s and humid...which is NOT normal. So I will still end up freaking out on my day!!

It poured on my friend''s wedding day this past May. They had to move inside. She didn''t mind at all...she was the most calm, collected bride I''ve ever seen. She actually liked hearing the thunder during her vows!

We do have a backup plan, but it''s not as pretty and not what I''ve been imagining of course. The reception is indoors so that''s not a huge deal. There is only a 20-30% chance of rain, so that''s low, but when I look at the hourly forecast they predict it will rain at the same time as my ceremony!! I really don''t care if it rains on Saturday as long as it''s after 7:00pm!
