Sold Ultra Rare Elgin "Lady & Tiger" Art Deco Watch

Hello again!

Here I have one more ultra rare Art Deco piece: a c.1925 Elgin "Lady & Tiger" Art Deco bracelet watch part of the "Parisienne" series designed by Lucien Lelong. Hinged case believed to be solid 14 kt white gold with inlaid black, gold, and orange colored enamel. Orange colored enamel tiger and woman’s profile with gold enamel Art Deco designs above and below rectangular dial. White gold Art Deco etched border frames dial. Dial measures approximately 15 mm L x 12 mm W, is cream shade with black "Elgin,” and yellow gold tone numbers. Watch is manual, hand winding and in good working order at time of listing. Case measures approximately 30 mm L x 17 mm W. Watch bracelet attaches to watch with white gold rings and is made of fine double herringbone pattern chains, measuring approximately 3 mm W. Inner circumference measures approximately 5.5". Bracelet fastens with a fold-over catch clasp. This book piece found on the cover of "American Wrist Watches" by Unger and Faber.
