So does anyone have one ? Would love to see, with specs :) !

There’s a thread on under 1ct diamonds which has a lot of rings with 0.5ct and under :)

yes thanks @AllAboardTheBlingTrain

This thread is a sticky at the top of this page. It’s good to keep these threads consolidated so people can be efficient in their research.

I'll take a photo and post my .5ct OEC ER when I get home tonight.

Ok, so not a ring but a pendant. Does give an idea of size though. Its a BGD .46 J/SI1 on a
size 6 3/4 finger. I believe its 4.95mm.

I'll attach a couple of pics of my engagement ring, I'm sorry but I can't recall the exact specs and I've just moved house so I don't have them at hand but from memory this is .49ct cushion cut (or .51ct, yikes! So sorry, I can't remember). I've tried to take a photo close up and a little further away for size perspective. I have quite small, short fingers, with my ring finger being a size 3.75 - 4. Hope this helps! 20201030_084305.jpg20201030_084010.jpg20201030_083808.jpg

My 0.30ct G/Vs2 (or better as sold mounted and ungraded...) on my size 5.5 finger (bypass setting) and my size 6 finger after rework to 'straighten' it. I now can barely get it on my size 6.75 finger! It's sad that I look at my hand pics and sigh at how skinny my fingers were. DSC_0283.jpgIMAG0885.jpg

So nice to have a thread to share our small, but mighty stones. Mine is a .5ct OEC or transitional center stone in a platinum Art Deco step cut setting.

Along with the platinum mark, it’s marked f- on the inside of the band. I believe that refers to the color of the center stone bc it’s super white and lively, but I’m not entirely sure.
We bought it a bit spur of the moment at a jewelers with an antique case without complete details. What can I say, it was glistening in the case. Lol
The ring is a size 6.

I love the facet pattern of the stone and the detail on the setting. It’s delicate and suits my lifestyle well.

The last photo shows a little bit of perspective. The ring on my other finger is 1.26ct for comparison.
Sorry it’s blurry. Its only one handy at the
moment.

1st one is my .5ct OEC from my late husband. I picked it out. It's a true antique. Platinum setting, I color, SI 1 clarity. When I saw it, I thought anyone would be lucky to have it.

2nd ring is a .5ct princess cut I just thought was pretty. I bequeathed it my brother-in- law, in case he ever wants it for his partner - to use for an e-ring or pendant or whatever.

You guys are KILLING me with these beauties. I'm such a die-hard small stone gal.

These are so lovely. I guess it makes sense to have consolidation threads for all the size ranges. Gorgeous rings ladies. Hope to see more.

@LLJsmom - I know, right?! Every time I see the small beauties I'm blown away by their individual personalities and impact.

If it's appropriate, I'll add one of my 7 stone later on today. Its center stone is .48ct, decreasing to .17 on the outer sides.

Mine is a RHR, but I sometimes wear it with my wedding band in place of my e-ring. 0.49ct E SI2 emerald cut set E-W in 14ct white and rose gold.

I am loving all of the pieces on this thread! Keep them coming! :kiss2:

It’s gorgeous :)

@Bluemuse - Ihave the little sister to your ring. Mine is .35 carat with two steps on each side, instead of 3 like yours. There is no sun here and my pics look terrible so I’ll post when I can get a decent shot.

Mine was also an impulse buy and I’m so glad that I purchased it! I just adore it as I’m a small stone gal all the way.

Can’t wait to see it! I’ve always loved Art Deco settings in every size! I feel the same, they’re easy and beautiful! I appreciate the big and bold as well!

LOVE these 1/2 ctw solitaires and streamlined settings. Very elegant.
I ALSO do see a lot of antique ER’s with 1/3 or 1/2 diamonds in engraved or pierced settings that are a totally different look, that provides a big look for the carat weight.

This is my friends .50ct, don’t know the specs, on my size 6.5 finger

Yes, this range is very charming, and quite enchanting. I'm an organization and categorization freak so when I see so many show me threads, I just wanna put keep everything together. Now it feels like we need a 1.0-1.5 thread, 1.5-2.0 thread, 2.0-2.5 thread and so on... Must stop.
