Uneven widths-wedding set

Hi!
I am reaching out to the PS community again for some style advice. I have two wedding bands that I got for my engagement ring, but neither are exact matches, as the set wasn’t created together (my learning mistake). The first is a 3.5mm alternating round/princess cut that was the pattern of my original wedding band. The second is a 4mm all round band. The engagement ring is 3.5mm. I am trying to decide if the 4mm is too over-powering? Is a smaller/same size wedding band better? The diamonds are better in the 4mm, but the 3.5 has the matching width. Which goes better, if you had to choose only one. I would like to do something with the one I don’t select.

I think your first choice is matchy matchy so if that is the look you are after, that’s a solid choice. The bottom choice looks like it was trying to match but missed the mark bc it’s not different enough to look contrasting. I vote for first.

Thanks @junebug17! I am truly getting to think I may not be happy with anything, as I’m super picky. I have switched it so many times that it’s kind of embarrassing, but I will share all (or most) of the iterations!! I’m open to any and all helpful, loving advice

Are you "not happy with anything," or do you just like variety? I love variety and I would be unhappy if I tried to stick with one thing, but I don't view it as a failing, just as a different way of being. You probably don't wear the same clothes or shoes every day, so why the same exact rings?

Thanks good point @distracts I do love changing jewelry with outfits. I am going to have to revisit labs for one of my settings and use that. I just have to get over my mental road block of a lab for a e-ring. But if I like different styles/can’t choose, then something’s gotta give, I guess.

Thanks @junebug17 I should add that one of the reasons I change the settings/rings is if it isn’t comfortable. I’m left handed and write with my job a lot. I clench my fingers and if there is too much width on the bands, it bugs me. So that’s why this combo didn’t work. I will also say that it is hard to try on rings for me in a store because I am a size 9.5 and have to have it especially made first!

Thanks, same issue with the Tiffany band. Not enough real estate for it to be functional although it looks nice. The other one you chose is the round 4mm band that’s in the vote!

I know I'm definitely the minority, but I absolutely LOVE the plain, high polished look. It makes your diamond look huge! I'd wear one of the diamond bands as an anniversary ring.

@Angie3 Yes, that is one of my favorite looks too. I had just been wearing that set with my antique diamond. I love the set for its comfort, but preferred my warm ,antique diamond in her setting in my avatar. The set is still an option, but right now I am in bling-mode!!!

why dont you just wear them on the other hand and be like a Euro ?

I haven’t been on PS that much but wanted to give an update. I really did not like either of the two bands above with my e-ring. Thanks for all the helpful comments and suggestions. Luckily, I found a Diamond band I really love from Whiteflash, that I think, matches beautifully and the diamonds are very nice too.

Thank you! I do love it. It reminds me of my original in that it wasn't overly large. It is also very comfortable to wear, and the diamonds are gorgeous-I am a believer now. This will be my primary set, but I am also working on putting in a white sapphire into the sapphire trilogy for a secondary set!
By the way @junebug17 I love all of your wedding set iterations!!!!
