There must be a million ways to convert this antique Tuxedo set.
Perhaps that's a slight exaggeration. Ok, there must be four or five ways to convert them. String them together as a necklace, a bracelet, or earrings? Or wear them as-is, with your own tuxedo. Whatever you choose, this set is pure classic Hollywood, luminous under any light, and reflective from across the room. They have that 'come hither' look, you could say.
14k, matte-finished (so very much like moonstone) rock crystal/onyx/diamond/white gold/yellow gold. 10.3g in total.
The diamonds are wide-faceted, probably Transitional or Early American cut. I'm no expert but I can attest that they are neither MRB, nor OMC, nor Single Cut, nor OEC.
20th century, probably American. Hallmarked by the maker. The milgrain in white gold is so precise, so fine, it's hard to imagine them out of these bezels, but if you need old-cut melee, this is a great opportunity. Diamonds like this are terribly hard to find, and in this size they are perfect for adding to your next halo project, if need be.
Diamonds measure approximately 3mm (four stones) and 2.5mm (three stones) and are clear and bright, with a high color that I wish I could measure!
Listed on Etsy for less than I paid, because it will cost a little bit to have them either restored or converted. I can't move forward with the project but maybe someone else can take up the challenge and show these beauties the time of their life!

Note: one small shirt stud is missing the onyx collar. It can be replaced by a jeweler if they are to be kept as a Tuxedo set, or if the set is converted to something else such as earrings, you won't need that extra stud, so you could set the diamond aside for another project. If you just want to cull all the diamonds out, that's perfectly reasonable.
