HI girls.
Has anyone seen any halo e-rings WITHOUT the paving around the band itself? I think that's what's in the works! I just got used to the idea of getting a halo since my SO has heavily hinted that's what he wants to get me, and I like them now but all the ones I looked at had paving around the band. I just spoke to SO and from what he said I'm guessing he's getting a halo without the paving around the band. What do these look like? I mean I can imagine it but I haven't seen one yet!!

You have all the attention on the center stone which is accented by the halo. But if you like the pave on the band, there are usually two versions. Maybe you can hint that you want pave on the band, too? A little more bling can be nice, too.

But the version without pave on the band is dynamite!

It'll be like...POW! No one will know what hit them!

Ya know... I actually think that setting (or one like that) is killer without pave around the shank. Gorgeous. But if you really want pave on the shank, you should ask your SO and see if he can still change it! Otherwise... there are always right hand rings... and upgrades

Katica, are you thinking about getting pave on your wedding band? If so, I encourage you to look at what the set would look like (if you plan on wearing it that way) because once I did, I decided to not get pave on the engagement ring band. The center stone stands out, yet you still get the sparkle that you want. I would photoshop it together if i could, but sadly my new computer doesnt have the program yet.

And good point about the wedding ring, I hadn''t even thought of that. It''s funny, cause I''ve been thinking ahead but just plain forgot about the band. I even mentioned to SO that soon we''ll have a wedding to pay for and he goes "whoa one thing at a time" lol I guess I better not emphasize all the costs associated or he might change his mind..j/k anyways I''m just really happy that he''s actually going forward with it. Not too long ago I was on here whining away but I''m thankful everyone told me to be patient.

I LOVE halos, but had never thought about one without diamonds on the band. Now that I have seen a few (thanks Sailorssweet & Vogue) I love them too! I guess you can''t go wrong either way.

Yes! I''m a big fan of them because you can pair them with thin diamond bands on either side, and it suddenly transforms the halo into a designer looking ring!
