So if you read my other thread about the cell phone/car break down update... here''s what happened AFTER the argument!
His car died (hence the original argument) and we decided it''s time for us to get a new car. So we''re looking at leases, and trying to decide whether to get a 2 or 3 year lease. So we started talking about where we will be in two or three years.
He asked if we''d be looking at buying a house yet, and I responded with "Well that''s up to you, no house without being married" So we ended up talking timelines, which we''ve never done. I said in my fantasy girly mind we''d get engaged after I graduate next year, and then have a Fall 2010 wedding, so in 3 years, we''d be married. He smiled, and said "oh so that''s what you think, huh?" Then he said, "So we''ll be looking at houses in 3 years, then."
Awesome! No marriage = no houses. So houses in 3 years = married in 2010!
I got a kind-of timeline! Sweet! I am TOTALLY getting engaged next year!
