First up, an untreated Umba sapphire, precision cut by Peter Torraca. 1.6 ct, 6.8 mm. I was going to put this in rose gold with some champagne diamonds as sides, but I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by the number of setting projects I have on the go.

Second, an imperial malaya garnet cut by Barry. It's 6.5 mm and VERY sparkly!

Third, a large 3 carat spinel - pinkish purple, some crystal inclusions, but not really noticeable, 9.1 by 8.1 mm.
